Currently we are recruiting an employee for a new culinary concept in Munich/Germany, which will have an American atmosphere within a great selection of perfect steaks. We are looking for an ambitious Sous Chef, who has experience from this position min. 4 years, perfect English and fluent German is a must, knowledge of guest's needs and strong managing skills. This favourite concept has a lot of satisfied guests in already established restaurant in Prague.
• responsibility for leading the kitchen staff in case of absence Executive Chef,
• an active cooperation with the Executive Chef and Sommelier/Head waiter,
• preparing fresh and tasty dishes focused on steak specialities,
• training new and existing kitchen staff within a motivating,
• controlling of the warehouse stocks,
• carrying frequently inventory in cooperation with an Executive Chef,
• communication with suppliers,
• compliance with hygienic and safety standards.
What do we need from you:
• fluently in English is a MUST, communicative German,
• previous experience as a "Sous Chef, Chef de partie" at least 4 years,
• finished high school education,
• experience from abroad is an advantage, experience with pre opening restaurant as well,
• leadership skills, interest and passion for modern gastronomy,
• familiarity with computer software and restaurants programs,
• natural authority and respect.
