For a well known luxury resort on Zanzibar island, owned by the established Czech investment company, we are looking for the position of Resort Manager. This role is made for experienced hospitality professional - someone who is ready to become a valuable team leader supported people working with a commitment and passion in a fast paced environment. The position will be oriented on overseeing all operations. Ideal candidate must be experienced in F&B industry, have excellent communication skills and last but not least demonstrate leadership with sensitivity to local culture which is highly important for us.
Duties and responsibilities:
• overseeing all daily operations, leading and traning large local team,
• establishes goals for the resort and staff,
• creating the resort's schedule, manages costs and budget, financial records,
• handling customer complaints and queries on the highest level of service.
• at least 5 years' experience in managerial role - GM / Operations / F&B including multiple outlets,
• previous experience from international environment, knowledge of all standards,
• native Czech or Slovak + perfect English language is the must,
• self-motivated and open minded personality with enthusiastic approach,
• adequate leadership skills, multi-tasking,
• budgeting knowledge (pricing, cost monitoring, current earning opportunities).
