Duties and responsibilities:
• Guarantees, performs and sets the highest standards in food preparations, menus and presentation of American, Asian and European type of cuisine
• Masters the budget and financial objectives of the dept., food cost control
• Holds responsibility for the staff selection, motivation and drives adequate job performance of the staff
• Designs and equips the kitchen effectively
• Complies with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Performs administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, manages logistics
• Contributes to the success of the resort through an effective collaboration with the Resort manager
