As the Sales Manager of the Visitor Center and Museum of chocolate you are the driving force behind revenue generation and ensuring the financial success of this enchanting destination. Your role is to strategically boost ticket sales, workshop bookings, merchandise purchases, while also maintaining strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.. Your strategic thinking, sales acumen, and ability to build and maintain valuable partnerships will ensure that the visitor center remains a thriving and financially sustainable attraction, offering sweet experiences to visitors from all walks of life. Your role is pivotal in making the chocolate adventure accessible to an ever-expanding audience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the visitor center’s goals. Identify target markets, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize revenue.
2. Revenue Growth: Drive ticket sales, workshop bookings, and merchandise purchases by utilizing various sales channels, including online platforms, tour operators, and on-site promotions.
3. Partnerships and Alliances: Collaborate with local businesses, tour operators, and schools to establish partnerships and alliances that increase foot traffic and group bookings.
4. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers, tour operators, and event planners to ensure a steady flow of group bookings.
5. Sales Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to optimize the team’s performance.
6. Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends, track conversion rates, and assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Use insights to adjust strategies as needed.
7. Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, ensuring a consistent and compelling message to potential visitors.
8. Customer Experience: Collaborate with the operational team to ensure that the visitor experience aligns with the promises made in the sales process, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
9. Event Planning: Coordinate, create and promote special events, promotions, and group bookings. Ensure that events are well-planned, marketed, and executed to maximize revenue.
10. Financial Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, revenue forecasts, and budget analysis. Monitor expenses to ensure profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven track record in sales, preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry.
• Very good Czech and English language.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Experience with CRM software and sales management tools.
• Creativity and adaptability to develop innovative sales strategies.
Knowledge of the local tourism market.
