We are looking for an experienced hospiltality professional for the position of Resident Manager who will take a leading role in the further development of one of the best wellness and health spa resort in region. The resort is after a full renovation and rebranding as part of the well known brand – Premium Collection with 5-star certification. The hotel offers both historical medical treatments, supervised by the medical team of doctors and nurses, as well as contemporary health and wellness products, such as programs for relaxation, mindfulness, burnout and stress prevention… Vacation travellers will enjoy the best wellness and spa facilities in the region, with outdoor swimming pool, garden, summer terrace and a weekly program of many activities. This role will be definitely important for the future quality development as well as a complete establishment of strong position on the local market.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily business operations across all departments, assuring fluent communication
- Promote fluent communication with guests throughout the hotel, in order to obtain valuable and timely feedback
- Organize and conduct department meetings at different levels
- Plan and execute staff recruitment & selection, supervise the onboarding program
- Promote innovation, dynamic product development and pro-active guest orientation
- Inspire and support a young and dedicated team of highly qualified department managers and line staff
- Follow up on projects and tasks with department heads
- Promote team development with strong focus on trust and respect, in order to obtain superior guest service and steady increase of guest satisfaction
- Review and optimize internal processes
- Control costs with regular analysis of P&L and plan corrective measures
- Anticipate staffing requirements in all guest service areas
- Supervise and plan the duty roster
- Participate actively in the strategic positioning and marketing of the hotel
- Be a role model for our Welcome Home philosophy and ensuring it is lived in the hotel
Requirements
- 10 years in hospitality, 5 years as team leader
- Czech or Slovak native speaker, English – Advanced (C1) + German – active
- Sensitivity for cultural differences and ability to adjust and adapt to local mindset
- Opening and project management experience
- Experience in planning and implementing change
- Strong hotel operations skills in several departments – mainly in rooms division,
- Excellent communication skills, open and transparent
- Excellent people management skills, flexibility and persistence
- Focus on details and high quality and guest orientation
- Self-motivated and pro-active, positive personality
