Food&Beverage Manager – 5* resort, Zanzibar, Tanzania

Food & Beverage outlets are the heart of the guest experience – from sophisticated fine dining to relaxed beachfront bars, every venue reflects our commitment to quality, creativity, and exceptional service.

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead our talented team, inspire innovation, and ensure our guests enjoy extraordinary culinary journeys. You’ll work in a dynamic, multicultural environment where fresh ideas are celebrated and professional growth is encouraged.

The boutique resort features 50 rooms, 3 restaurants, and 2 bars, each offering a unique atmosphere and high-quality service.

If you have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the drive to deliver unforgettable dining experiences, join us in creating moments our guests will treasure forever. Previous experience in Europe or in Zanzibar is essential.

Job description:

  • leading and motivating the F&B team,
  • setting strategic goals and ensuring performance is aligned with resort objectives,
  • managing staff scheduling and optimizing labor costs,
  • keeping financial and operational records accurate, especially in gastronomy,
  • addressing and resolving guest concerns and feedback.

We require:

  • minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality, including 5 years in a senior F&B management role overseeing multiple outlets in 5 star hotel, 
  • previous experience in East Africa or similar environment is highly desirable and in Europe, 
  • fluency in English,
  • strong leadership, planning, and communication skills,
  • familiarity with CRM systems and international hospitality standards,
  • solid understanding of pricing strategy, budgeting, and cost control in F&B.
