Chef de Partie – luxury hotel restaurant, Amsterdam

Are you an ambitious Chef de Partie looking for a new job opportunity? We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team in the hotel restaurant! This restaurant is part of a glamorous hotel and is inspired by tropical and Latin American cuisine.

Imagine working in a rooftop restaurant with stunning views of Amsterdam, creating culinary masterpieces that bring guests a unique and unforgettable experience. As a Chef de Partie, your main responsibility will be to wow our restaurant guests with your culinary creations.

Job description:

  • Responsible for own section inside the kitchen (grill, hot, cold),
  • ordering products for their own section,
  • follow the directions of the kitchen chef and sous chef,
  • develop the junior kitchen team,
  • participate with their own ideas and new ways of presenting the dishes,
  • give attention to the productivity of the kitchen, such as speed and food quality,
  • ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with the current HACCP guidelines.

 

We require:

  • Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role or as an independently working chef,
  • you are ambitious, your goal is to become a sous chef within a year,
  • experience with Latin American cuisine and cooking with charcoal grills is an advantage,
  • ability to use various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, tools, and processes,
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure,
  • great time management skills,
  • good level of verbal and written communication in the English language,
  • culinary school diploma is an advantage.
