Hotel Manager – Boutique Lifestyle Eco Hotel, Berlin

Our client is an established 53-room boutique lifestyle hotel located in the vibrant Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin. The hotel is part of an international hospitality group operating across the DACH region and is known for its distinctive concept, relaxed atmosphere, and strong focus on authentic guest experiences. Catering primarily to international leisure travelers, couples, and urban explorers, the hotel offers an alternative to standardized chain hotels through its unique character, personalized service, and strong local identity. Facilities include a breakfast operation, a stylish bar, and a charming garden, creating a welcoming environment where guests feel at home while exploring one of Europe's most exciting cities.

We are seeking a Hotel Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the property and serve as a key ambassador for both guests and employees.

This role is ideally suited for an ambitious Head of Department, Deputy Manager, Front Office Manager, Rooms Division Manager, or Operations Manager looking to take the next step in their career and lead their own hotel.

This is not a heavily F&B-focused role. Instead, we are looking for a leader with a strong passion for guest experience, team development, operational excellence, and hospitality.

We are looking for a visible and hands-on leader who enjoys spending time with guests, supporting the team, and creating memorable experiences rather than managing the operation from behind a desk.

Job description:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests and ensure an exceptional guest experience throughout the property.
  • Maintain a visible presence within the hotel and actively engage with guests on a daily basis.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the hotel team.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service quality.
  • Drive guest engagement and maintain a strong online reputation.
  • Monitor operational and commercial performance.
  • Foster a positive team culture aligned with the hotel’s boutique lifestyle and eco concept.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and operational procedures.

We require:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within hotel operations, such as Front Office Manager, Rooms Division Manager, Operations Manager, Deputy Manager, or a similar position.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong focus on guest experience and service excellence.
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations.
  • Good knowledge of the Berlin hospitality market; experience in Berlin is highly desirable.
  • A personality that fits a relaxed, authentic, and lifestyle-oriented hotel environment.
  • Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

We offer:
