We are seeking a Resort Manager who brings proven operational leadership and a strong regional understanding of Caribbean island life. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has already managed operations in the British Virgin Islands or similar island destinations and can navigate the unique logistical and cultural aspects of remote resort management with confidence.

The role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader, capable of inspiring a diverse team and maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all departments. The Resort Manager will report directly to ownership and play a key role in the continued success and reputation of this extraordinary island destination.

Job description:

  • Full oversight of the day-to-day operations, including Rooms, F&B, Guest Services, Marina, and Maintenance.
  • Ensure world-class guest satisfaction and maintain the resort’s reputation for personalized, memorable service.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a multicultural team, fostering collaboration, professionalism, and positive morale.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost efficiency across all departments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, suppliers, and community partners.
  • Drive sustainability and environmentally responsible practices aligned with the resort’s ethos.
  • Represent the resort with integrity and professionalism in all dealings with ownership and external stakeholders.

We require:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Resort or Hotel Manager in luxury properties, ideally within the Caribbean or other island destinations.
  • Prior experience in the United States and/or Europe is highly valued, bringing a blend of international standards and regional adaptability.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage remote, complex operations with logistical awareness and problem-solving skills.
  • A hands-on, visible leader with a focus on guest engagement and team empowerment.
  • Strong operational, financial, and people management skills.
  • Deep respect for Caribbean culture and community, with a collaborative, humble leadership approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Eligible to work in or relocate to the Caribbean region.
