A 4-star hotel in the scenic city of Bregenz is looking for a talented and hands-on Head Chef to lead its kitchen team. The property combines elegant design, a welcoming atmosphere, and a strong culinary concept built around seasonal and regional ingredients. Job description:

  • managing and motivating a team of app 10 kitchen professionals, including cooks and dishwashers,
  • ensuring smooth daily operations across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events,
  • active participation in food preparation – hands-on leadership, especially during high season,
  • designing and implementing creative, seasonal menus in line with hotel concept,
  • maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene,
  • coordinating with hotel departments for events, conferences, and seminars,
  • overseeing ordering, stock control, and cost management to ensure efficiency.

We require:

  • proven experience as a head chef or sous chef in a 4* or 5* hotel environment,
  • excellent leadership and organizational skills,
  • strong knowledge of modern European cuisine and menu planning,
  • ability to train, inspire, and develop the kitchen team,
  • good communication skills in English or German,
  • proactive, creative, and quality-driven mindset,
  • flexibility to handle increased workload during the high season.

  • competitive salary starting from €4000 gross per month (depending on experience),
