We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Restaurant Manager for a four-star boutique design hotel that is part of a prestigious international collection of individually styled properties. The hotel is located in a scenic and culturally vibrant destination, surrounded by nature, art, and authentic regional heritage.

Combining contemporary architecture with local charm, the property offers guests a refined and elegant atmosphere. Its restaurant is a central part of the hotel’s identity – known for its seasonal menus, local ingredients, and impeccable service standards.
Open to both hotel guests and local visitors, it regularly hosts cultural events, live music evenings, and curated dining experiences, making it a true meeting point of gastronomy and culture.

The restaurant team is professional, motivated, and now looking for a strong, inspiring leader to guide them forward. The hotel values sustainability, innovation, and lasting relationships with both guests and employees.

Job description:

  • oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service, quality, and profitability,
  • lead, train, and motivate a team of waiters, sommeliers, and bar staff,
  • collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager on menu creation, beverage pairings, and special events,
  • take an active role in service during peak periods, setting the tone for hospitality and excellence,
  • maintain close relationships with guests, manage feedback, and ensure memorable dining experiences,
  • manage scheduling, cost control, stock management, and reporting,
  • identify opportunities to enhance service standards, guest satisfaction, and revenue performance.

We require:

  • previous experience in a leadership role within a 4* or 5* restaurant or hotel,
  • strong people management and communication skills,
  • genuine passion for guest service and hospitality,
  • excellent organizational and multitasking abilities,
  • fluency in German and English (additional languages are an advantage),
  • confident user of restaurant management and POS systems,
  • creative mindset with a focus on quality, presentation, and modern dining trends.
