For a well known luxury resort on Zanzibar island, owned by the established Czech investment company, we are looking for the position of Resort & Operations Manager. This role is made for experienced hospitality professional - someone who is ready to become a valuable team leader supported people working with a commitment and passion in a fast paced environment. The position will be oriented on overseeing all operations. Ideal candidate should be experienced mainly in F&B industry, have excellent communication skills and last but not least demonstrate leadership with sensitivity to local culture which is highly important for us.
Duties and responsibilities:
• overseeing daily operation of all departments (F&B, Front Office, HR, Maintenance, Housekeeping...)
• establishes goals for the resort and staff, traning and motivating large local team,
• close cooperation with HQ, managing costs and budget, financial records,
• handling customer complaints and queries on the highest level of service.
• at least 5 years' experience in managerial role - GM / Hotel Manager / Operations / F&B including multiple outlets,
• previous experience from international environment, knowledge of the highest standards,
• native Czech or Slovak + perfect English language is the must,
• open minded personality with enthusiastic approach and attention to detail,
• adequate leadership skills, multi-tasking, self-motivated,
• budgeting knowledge (pricing, cost monitoring, current earning opportunities).
